Can we embody the lessons of nature to dream up the next shift, crumble, or evolution of our systems?

Using theatrical ensemble based practices Returning to Interdependence explores this question while learning from & engaging with the earth’s natural cycles.
This is a six week workshop series. You can join one or all classes.
If you are present for all six you will get the most out of our practice together, as each class builds upon the one before!
Sign up above and there is a sliding scale fee for the classes ($0-15 per class). Don’t let funds keep you from participating!

I believe that our bodies/ systems are intelligent.
Our cellular bodies, our physical bodies, our communities & collective bodies, and the earth and natural bodies at large.
All of our bodies are also interconnected.
I believe that if we took more time to listen to these different bodies we could come to understand the systems that we have built. Systems that benefit some and hold many down.
With that understanding we could move to
dreaming,
scheming,
shifting,
breaking,
and decompost
the ones that aren’t serving and welcome in others.
This workshop is my praxis.

In each workshop series, one topic from Living System Theory (like feedback loops, fractals, biomimicry, bifurcation points) will be kinesthetically practiced with the ensemble community that collects. Through the workshop the ensemble will practice listening, connecting, and devising with
to remember how interconnected and thus interdependent we actually are!
